Frequently asked questions
What is an AI mock interview?
An AI mock interview is a practice interview you run against an AI interviewer instead of a human. Torek runs a private, audio-direct live mock tuned to the actual role you are applying for, then gives you a graded scorecard on your communication, answer quality, and interview readiness.
How does calendar detection work?
After you connect Google Calendar, Torek watches your calendar events for invitation patterns that look like interviews, and every match gets a confidence score you can confirm or dismiss.
Is my voice stored?
No. Live practice sessions stream your microphone directly to the AI provider, so voice is never recorded. Transcripts may be kept for feedback, but voice audio is not stored.
Is it free to start?
Yes. The Free plan includes 3 AI mock practices every month with scored feedback, and no credit card is required. Pro is $19/month for unlimited practice after a 7-day free trial.
How does Torek keep practice consistent?
Torek tracks a practice streak as you finish sessions, and the landing page includes a zero-signup diagnostic sandbox so you can try a quick drill before creating an account. Additional gamified practice features are shown in preview while they are being built.
Is this a live interview cheating tool?
No. Torek is a prep-only practice tool for mock interviews. It is built to rehearse before the real thing, never to answer questions during one.
How does auto-schedule work?
Pick a lead time and Torek adds a mock-practice session before each upcoming interview on your calendar, so practice happens without extra planning.
